SipRoute ("we," "our," or "us") is a bar discovery and bar crawl app. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Sippr mobile application.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: Name and email address (collected at registration), Profile photo (optional, uploaded by you). Location Data: Approximate location to find nearby bars and verify check-ins during bar crawlsLocation is only accessed when you use location-based features. User-Generated Content: Drink ratings and reviews, Bar crawl routes you create, Check-in history, Saved bars and drinks. Social Data: Friend connections (email addresses of friends you add), Activity visible to friends (check-ins, crawls completed).

3. How We Use Your Information

To provide bar discovery and crawl features. To verify location-based check-ins. To display leaderboards and social activity. To improve app features and performance.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Friend activity is visible only to accepted friends. Bar crawls marked as "community crawls" are publicly visible within the app.

5. Data Retention

You may delete your account at any time from the Profile page. Upon deletion, your personal data and activity history are permanently removed.

6. Children's Privacy

Sippr is intended for users 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Third-Party Services

Google Places API — used for bar search and address lookup. Base44 — our backend infrastructure provider.
